As a Group Manager, you will be responsible for managing all of the existing F&A processes, helping and creating organisational and program budgets in collaboration with the Operations Director. You will serve as a member of the Management Team and report to the Operations director. This positions primary responsibility is ensuring organisational effectiveness by providing leadership for the company’s finance processes.

This position also contributes to the development and implementation of organisational strategies, policies and practices. Your responsibilities will also include managing and delivering day to day F&A processes such as AR collections scope, AP vendor invoicing, Finance Planning and Analysis, and producing reports as requested. You will improve the operational systems, processes and policies in support of organisations mission.

You will play a significant role in long term planning, as well as overseeing monthly and quarterly assessments and forecasts of short and long term financial reporting. You will also ensure that F&A requests are resolved and communicated in a timely manner, and you will facilitate Performance Reviews for all existing F&A processes, encouraging best practice for the team.

 

Job Specification

The successful applicant will be fluent in English, both written and spoken, and a qualified accountant (ACCA/CMA/CPA/ACA). They will have significant proven experience in Finance and Accounting Operations/Management, with a strong background and prior work experience in Finance and Accounting.

Knowledge and experience in organisational effectiveness and operations management implementing best practices is also essential. Demonstrated leadership and vision in managing staff groups and major projects, as well as excellent interpersonal skills, a collaborative management style, and a demonstrated commitment to high professional ethical standards and a diverse workplace. You must be an excellent people manager, open to direction and a collaborate work style with commitment to get the job done.

The successful client must excel at operating in a fast paced community environment. Experience in P&L development and oversight experience is essential, along with intensive knowledge in all verticals of FAO. Business level proficiency in an additional European language would be an advantage.
