Global Project Manager

Then you could be our next Global Project Manager in Danfoss Global Services Logistics. You are offered a unique position where you will head global projects within Danfoss’ Supply Chain and have the opportunity to impact further global development. Develop and implement logistics concepts and ensure stakeholder alignment Reporting to the Logistics Concepts Director, your mission is to optimise Danfoss’ logistics setup across our different divisions from inbound flow of goods from supplier to factories to outbound flow from factories to distribution centres and customers. Here you develop and implement logistics concepts across Danfoss’ divisions reducing cost to serve and improving delivery services. Other key tasks are: •Project management and business case preparation •Stakeholder Alignment across Danfoss •Ensure project objectives are met on time and within budget •Sourcing recommendations (default buy) •Distribution network and Distribution Center footprint optimisation •Supplier (Logistic Service Providers) and customer dialogue and negotiations •Ensuring sustainable results by establishing KPI and follow up structure (PDCA) Your most prominent job is to ensure stakeholder alignment and as such you will have a unique opportunity to build a wide international network. This is a unique chance to rocket your career within the Danfoss organisation. The position will be located in Rødekro in Denmark and entails approx. 20 travel days per year. High-class logistics management and strong networking skills You are an exceptional logistics manager and have backed your experience with a relevant BSc or MSc in Supply Chain Management. Your track record shows successful project management experience developing and implementing new ways of working within an international organisation. Experience with Lean, Six Sigma and IT/SAP is an advantage. Moreover you possess the drive and the communication skills to lead and create results. You are characterised by entrepreneurial spirit, an analytical approach and a global holistic mindset. You excel in maintaining strong relationships on every level and have profound English skills. Last but not least, you thrive in a role motivating and guiding others to be up to speed and perform at their best.
