Responsibilities:
As a General Ledger Accountant you will be working in a communicative, international environment at Celanese. In this position you will be responsible for US GAAP accounting, reporting and analyses of data and other ad hoc requests for information. You will beperforming month-end closings, general ledger account analysis and Balance Sheet account reconciliations, prepare SOX controls.
You will deploy your talents in preparing and post journal entries and perform related account reconciliations; preparing and reviewing management reports and financial information analysis on monthly, quarterly and annual basis. Your key responsibilities will also includecontinuously improving closing processes and efficiency; and interfacing with external and internal auditors for PBC requests, process and account explanations.
Qualifications:
Ideally educated to BSc/MSc level in Accounting you will have at least 2-5 years of relevant professional experience in Accounting. You will need demonstrable ability of good communicational skills, problem-solving and strong decision-making skills. Happy working autonomously and prioritising and handling your own work, you’ve got the skills to work in a team as well.

- Fluent English skills
- German or Italian is an advantage
- Advanced understanding of accounting & internal accounting controls
- Good understanding of Microsoft Excel
- Experience in SAP is an advantage
