The first Supermac’s opened its door in 1978 on Main Street, Ballinasloe, Co. Galway. Since that first opening Supermac’s restaurants have become a firm fixture in towns and cities around Ireland. The Catering Assistant or Team Member provides ongoing support to the Management Team to ensure Supermac’s, Papa Johns, SuperSubs and Bewley’s Barista receive the best quality, service and cleanliness each time they visit the store. The Team Member must interact with customers, staff and management in a friendly and efficient manner to achieve this result. It is the responsibility of the team member to carry out his/her duties in compliance with the training received, and the standards set in the Employee Handbook. The purpose of the role is to serve all customer, regardless of what area they visit, in a friendly and welcoming fashion, going the extra mile to meet their needs in a clean and presentable environment. All roles require flexibility with regards to cooking, serving, cleaning, and ensuring a great visit for every customer every time.

 

THE JOB:

  • Treating our customers to warm and friendly service each and every time they visit the site.
  • Working an all areas to comply with company standards, adhering to safety/quality aspects, thus ensuring consistency every time.
  • Working as part of a team, in all areas as required, treating all staff and management with respect.
  • Following company guidelines/training in all aspects of food preparation, production and storage.
  • At all times, portraying a professional image, both on and off the premises.
  • Working with management team to increase the numbers of customers and the amount of money spent each and every day in our restaurant.
  • In relation to cash handling, ensure correct procedures are followed as directed by management.
  • Ensuring uniform and personal appearance is complying with company guidelines.
  • Flexibility to work in all areas of the site as requested by the Manager
  • Constantly putting the customer first, whether first thing in the morning, or last thing at night.
  • Handle complaints and incidents effectively, passing on to Supervisor/ Manager.
  • Working with management team to increase the numbers of customers and the amount of money spent each and every day in our restaurant.
  • Keep lobby are and customer toilets clean and tidy at all times.
