Fota Island Resort are currently recruiting for a Front Office Manager to join our professional team in the Resort.

 

We are currently seeking a passionate and dynamic guest focused Front Office professional who pride themselves on their ability to deliver extraordinary levels of customer service and provide creative solutions to our guests.

Responsibilities

  • Anticipate the needs of guests; display an open, friendly, courteous, and approachable demeanor to guests; proactively engage guests to provide quality service; maintain a positive and enthusiastic attitude toward guest service
  • Ensures that all team members are trained on technical and service aspects of their position.
  • · Establishes control systems for controllable costs and labor to effectively meet budget guidelines. 
  • ·Ensures that all team members clearly understand their job roles, responsibilities, and performance expectations. Gives constructive feedback to team members to assist them in their overall job performance.
  • · Collaborates with managers, supervisors, and associates to develop and carry out ideas and procedures to continuously improve department performance around guest satisfaction scores.
  • ·Work in conjunction with the finance management to maintain the management of cash, reconciliation of folios and all accounting. 
  • Roster management, time management, Alkimi and hours’ control.
  • To assist with annual payroll budget in line with forecast occupancies.
  • To ensure monthly forecasting completed.
  • Constant review of Trip Advisor, Guest folio and other social media platforms

 

What we are looking for:

  • Previous experience in a similar role
  • Hospitality Management qualification
  • Background in both Front Office and Accommodation services within a hotel setting
  • Strong knowledge of property management system such as Opera 
  • Knowledge of Sales systems such as Micros
  • Problem solver
  • Results oriented with a proactive approach to all issues
  • Innovative thinker with the ability to lead, motivate and adapt to evolving situations
