You have a great opportunity now - we are looking for a Junior Planner.

About the role and expectation:

The primary responsibility of the Junior Planner is to provide all the required support to the Planning Management team within the Engineering, Procurement and Construction scope, always with the goal of delivering the project in the most effective manner and with solid scheduling updates, KPIs status and Lean communication.

During the overall project life-cycle the Junior Planner shall support the key stakeholders with the development and implementation of short term programmes, of planning processes and procedures, collect data and progress reporting from site, support time location development and 4D simulations, and increase the communication between departments.

The Junior Planner shall have an engineering and construction background, with the ability to work with strict deadlines and willing to learn and develop a career in the Planning, Scheduling and Project Control field.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Fully involvement on Primavera P6 Programme development and quality upgrade.
  • Review and adjust Primavera P6 Programme content according the existing framework and Implement the newly harmonized code structures, activity IDs, Calendars, etc.
  • Implementation and Development of Last Planner System approach and meetings on site (3 weeks look ahead).
  • Update the procurement plan for specific packages.
  • Support on 4D planning and simulations, and Time Location charts Development.
  • Time, Cost and Visual Data Collection, Management and Reporting.
  • Involvement on Presentations and Programme Targets communication.

Minimum Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Civil Engineering, or similar.
  • Some years’ experience in Planning, Scheduling or Cost Estimating in EPC (Engineering, Procurement and Construction) of Heavy Infrastructure projects or Large Contractors is a plus.
  • Competency with CPM scheduling software Microsoft Project and willing to develop skillset in Oracle Primavera P6 EPPM.
  • Willing to learn and apply Linear Planning (Time Location tools), 4D Construction Planning, BIM and Project Control methodologies.
  • Willing to develop and implement Last Planner System on site.
  • Fluent in English; spoken as well as written.

  • Able to learn quickly and to think laterally, with the perseverance to understand, identify and explain shortcomings in complex arguments.

  • Strong negotiation skills with the ability to be persuasive.
  • Accurate with a keen eye for detail.
  • Resilient and able to thrive in a busy environment.
