Fixed Asset, Intercompany and GL accountant

Our Client is expanding operation in Budapest, therefore they are looking to recruit Fixed Asset, Intercompany and GL accountants to perform all the General Ledger related tasks according to Group Accounting Policies, Accounting Standards and meet SOX requirements.

Responsibilities:

• Perform month end closing activities  timely and accurately, provide commentary and analysis of financial information
• Handling and booking of incoming/outgoing charges
• Submit forecasts
• Manage settlements, accruals
• General Ledger and system reconciliation
• Reconcile and validate Balance Sheet accounts on a monthly basis
• Support internal and external audits
• Manage efficient relationship with internal departments
• Perform all Fixed Asset/Project Accounting end-to-end activities for the in-country deadlines
• Handling and booking of Fixed Asset movements, Project Accounting activities
• Fixed Asset/Project Accounting Reporting
• Follow-up and solve issues and disputes
• Support and/or provide audit (SOX) materials, reporting
• To ensure manuals/documentations are up to date

Requirements:

• Fluency in English, another European language is preferred
• College or University degree (finance / accountancy / economics)
• 1 - 5  years working experience in General Ledger Accounting
• Excellent problem solving and communication skills
• Attention to accuracy and detail
• Ability to meet priorities and deadlines
• Experience in migration, transition of accounting processes is an advantage
