Financial Accountant

Our client is currently recruiting a Fixed Asset Accountant to join their growing team based in Dublin. As a very successful and recognized firm in the travel and tourism sector, they keep growing and are looking for a candidate who will take part of their growth. Fixed Asset Accountant

€50000 - €60000 per annum

Key responsibilities:

• To manage and update the CAPEX software
• Keep a business partner link with key stakeholders
• Adding value by identifying opportunities or issues and assist in the continuous process improvements
• Check the respect of group depreciation policy and the accuracy of depreciation calculations
• Establish Fixed Asset Registers and make sure of the accuracy of asset values
• Provide data to do forecasts for group reporting
• Review the accuracy of the journals created by the software and check if these data are in group accounts
• Being involved in the process of asset revaluations
• Ad-hoc duties when required

Key requirements:

• Qualified Accountant
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Strong verbal and written communication
• Good command of Microsoft Word and Excel
• Being meticulous
• Effective time management
• Ability to work independently with a good team spirit
• Knowledge of Data Analytic tools would be an edge
• Commercial awareness
