For a newly established team of 5 employees, located in Brande, Denmark, we are looking for a competent and passionate Loads Engineer who will thrive in an intense and dynamic advanced development environment to create the next level product range beyond the core product development.

The team is part of the Onshore Product Lifecycle Management organization and you will team up with a group of selected specialists that govern the global siting/loads tools in Siemens Wind Power, with the overall target of reducing the cost of energy for Siemens products.

Whole-system thinking combined with vertical software approaches are key to our strategy to drive value throughout a turbine lifecycle which enables us to keep our vision focused on the customer’s mission.

What are my responsibilities?

  • Development of processes supporting agile and high quality deliverables across Siting, Loads and Certification
  • Optimize our loads and control design procedure by improving our tools and methods
  • Load calculations, Site suitability check, Certification package within site specific loads
  • Improve aero-elastic modelling and structural interfaces

What do I need to qualify for this job?

  • You have an educational background as a BSc. or MSc. in engineering or similar
  • Experienced Loads Engineer with good knowledge of related technology areas
  • You have experience within structural element modelling and aero-elastic calculation systems.
  • Good programming skills in preferable Matlab
  • Experience and knowledge from working in a complex matrix organization, cross borders, cross customers, cross organizational units, with vendors and suppliers and not least customers
  • As a person you are result orientated and strive to achieve the optimal results for Siemens and its customers. You are a self-motivated individual with a strong drive for development and pro-active behaviour. Furthermore you are reliable and trustworthy
  • You have a structured approach to your daily assignments and project(s) in a fast moving environment in a complex organization
  • You possess excellent English skills both orally and in writing
