Fields of missions in Latin America:

The sustainable development concerns the realization of actions to improve the climate change, encourage recycling, preserve landscapes and save wildlife, reduce the ecological footprint of our products and services and educating our customers and the general population. In this context, each year, Bustamante International welcomes students and graduates to realize an internship. Reporting directly to your manager, the goal is that you apply the knowledge acquired during your training in the implementation of actions or practical projects. As trainee, you will participate in one or more missions depending on your education level and experience. On the other hand, the internships are carried out within the practical framework, in contact with the local population, on the ground and in which you would face real problems in order to propose solutions or possible scenarios.

1. Environment and sustainable development: The internships are relationed to technical aspects, economic, legal, and the management of the quality and the communication.

2. Ecology preservation: The projects are realtioned on the ecology, the preservation of natural environment, water, underwater ecologies, fish farming and rural farming. Also they concern the preservation strategies on ecosystems.

3. Territorial development: You will participate to define the characteristics of territories, to highlight their organization and how they function, or in the perspective to provide a needed element to the decision support to public sector or private, such as localization of economic, distribution or transport networks, restructuring activities, impacts of certain activities on the territory.

4. Territorial and environmental governance: As trainee your work is focused on studies concerning the governance modes for the territorial development, the preservation environment and the territorial strategies.

5. Environmental assessments: The internships are related to the assessment of environmental policies of sustainability, including by the use of relevant indicators; the measurement of the socio-economic and environmental impacts of the implementation of new activities and infrastructures (impact studies).

6. Consumption and sustainable production: The actions to develop concern the realization of studies on the theoretical reflection of concepts of sustainable development in relation with the production, the consumption, the roles of consumers, the incentives and policy.

7. Urban studies: You will realize studies on cities in order to understand the social logical, the urban space, and the populations.

8. Urban and rural Landscapes: Your job will be the projects for the identification of the landscape, for example landscape interpretation to that educational and tourism purposes.

9. Social and environmental inequalities: Transversal work aimed at questioning the relationship between the social and environmental dimensions, the sustainable development, the social impacts of environmental policies, the socio-economic inequities in energy.

10. Information systems: You can participate in several projects on the computer sciences, information systems, databases, satellite information and space systems.

Asked qualifications:

Student minimum first year of higher education (High School, Institute, University, Business School, Engineering School) or young graduate wishing to develop their analytical and synthesis skills, their initiative and to adapt to circumstances. You rigor and organizational skills in your work and your dynamism are equipped to succeed in this function.

We ensure the logistics of your stay in Latin America:

We ensure the logistics of your stay: transport, reception at the airport, assistance on site during your stay, the search for furnished accommodation and located in a quiet and peaceful area, affordable rent, free training in Spanish ( according to our conditions). In another, a person will accompany you to present your internship or mission supervisor, show you how to take public transportation and get your bearings in the city.

Mission or training full time of 1 to 6 months, to be taken as soon as possible. Location: Several countries in Latin America.
