Our client is looking for a Customer Support Engineer to join some of the brightest minds in the industry developing and deploying today’s most advanced internet technologies. In this role, you will gain valuable insight into the detailed functionality of this companies’ products.
The ideal candidate for this role will have an appetite for learning new technologies, with an ability to expand upon their core knowledge and specialise in a particular area. You will work for worldwide customers within your team and with other teams to solve problems and enhance future products, with supervision from a senior engineer. You will also be responsible for solving reported product and network problems of moderate complexity, utilising databases of existing issues and debugging tools to analyse problems and identify solutions. Providing a high level of customer satisfaction is essential. You will also be expected to keep up to date with the latest technology products in order to provide relevant high quality support.
Fluency in written and verbal English is essential, with additional European languages being an advantage. You must have the ability to work independently to targets, achieving goals and working on your own initiative.
The successful candidate will have experience in a contact centre environment or a similar role. A Bachelor or Master’s degree in engineering (Computer Science or Electrical Engineering) is essential, along with proven experience involving customer exposure elements in Security Technologies, including Firewall, VPN, IDS, and AAA.
The successful applicant will also have a good technical foundation in networking (CCNA equivalent level or above) and additional technology or product knowledge. Certifications in areas such as voice, security, routing, switching, and network management applicants would be a bonus.
