Innovative Space Company is looking for a talented software engineer for development of nano-satellites

The activity level at GomSpace Aps is increasing significantly and we are recruiting several new colleagues. For our international development team we a looking for a talented software engineer, who will be working on software design and solutions used in space environments.

The job will be full time with a versatile set of development tasks:

• Software development for space and ground segment for nano-satellites

• Analysis, Design, Implementation and Test of Mission Applications for nano-satellites

• Software Platform development and maintenance

• Development of test systems for standalone/integration test of products and systems

• Work from system requirements to applications, individually and in teams

We expect that the employee have the following qualifications

• Relevant technical education to at least Master degree

• Work experience in software design and product development

• Experience in complex distributed systems in heterogeneous environments

• In-depth knowledge and experience in developing code, unit testing, system testing and integrating software modules in a Linux and/or embedded environment

• Programming languages: C/C++, Python, JavaScript

• English fluently on a professional level

• Quality awareness – delivers solid work

Previous experience from space business is an advantage but not required.
