We design and maintain communication products for Kamstrup’s smart metering solutions both wired and wireless. As Embedded Software Developer, you will be working both in project teams and with individual scheduled tasks with interfaces at all organizational levels.
A position influencing future software solutions
Global presence in Smart Metering solutions is a corner stone in the Kamstrup strategy, and you will play an important role in executing the strategy creating low-level embedded software for our communication technologies and products. As our products are sold globally, our communication products and solutions require a large portfolio of communication technologies, which all depends on embedded solutions. Hence, your approach to and thorough knowledge of robust communication software is essential.
You will be working with defining and implementing communication technologies especially from an embedded software perspective. You need to master both a practical and theoretical approach to the solutions you create and qualify them in real life situations. Your daily work will be focusing on C style software for various embedded communication platforms.

You have at least five years’ experience within the field of embedded software designs for radio solutions and have an engineering degree to support it, most likely a B.SC or M.SC. Moreover, knowledge and experience with Python as test environment as well as other coding languages than C is an asset.
You are fluent in English – both oral and written, Danish will be an asset, but not a requirement.
