- Ensuring an effective integration of EHS processes and standards We are looking for an EHS specialist to support engineering and design activities within our expanding offshore business segment. You will be based at our new center of competence in Vejle, Denmark. What are my responsibilities? As an EHS specialist in the documentation and design risk team, you will provide EHS engineering support to our sales projects and engineering teams, promoting EHS policies and strategies, evaluate EHS documentation, EHS standards and policies, and promote our Zero Harm culture! More specifically, your responsibilities will cover: Provide overall EHS engineering support (give your view on technical queries and assess customer requirements from an EHS perspective, etc.) to our sales and execution teams Assist our organization in making EHS documentation and procedures to guarantee our Zero Harm culture Act as a point of contact for one of our EHS specialist area, e.g. Tower, Nacelle, Foundation, Handling equipment, Electrical etc. As part of the “EHS Dream team”, you will also play other positions than your specialist role Investigate and assess region-to-region EHS regulations and standards to fulfill local EHS requirements What do I need to qualify for this job? You have an engineering or technical education combined with experience in project organization within the wind or construction industry. Furthermore, you have advanced knowledge of EHS legislation including common standards, EN50308, 2006/42EC, CDM regulations. Loler, Puwer etc. As a person, you are outgoing, change-oriented, flexible and decisive; a high degree of intercultural awareness is essential. In addition, you are open to new ways of thinking, and you have a result and quality oriented approach to your assignments. You also have excellent communication and English skills, both orally and in writing. In case you have acquired your skills in alternative ways your application is just as well appreciated.
