DIGITAL TELEVISION TESTER (SENIOR)

REQUIREMENTS

• Previous experience in testing, at least 2 years
• Experience in digital television, more than one year
• Excellent communication skills in English
• Bachelor/Engineer or Master degree or similar by experience
• Technology areas: DVB, IPTV, Video-on-Demand, Over-the-Top
• Technologies: MPEG, DVB SI, DSM-CC, DVB-S/s2, DVB-T/T2, DVB-C/C2
• Tools: playout systems, SI generator, multiplexer, modulator, demodulator, stream analyzer

Nice to have:

• Digital TV set-top-box testing (manual and automated), head-end testing (new configurations and components)
• Knowledge and practical experience in test automation, test frameworks, the use of Jenkins, STB testing (TestWizard, StromTest, WitBe), web test automation (Selenium, SOAPUI)

The tester will perform the following tasks: gathering requirements and objectives for tests, setting up and configuration of test environment, test planning, manual and automated test execution, reporting.
