Currently, we give support to ALTEN on European level in searching of Diesel Engine Calibration Engineer for our different clients based in Belgium and in UK. 

Your responsibilities will be:

 

  • Validate the quality and the robustness of the engine calibration through endurance tests.
  • Schedule and follow-up endurance tests on vehicle in order to detect calibration problems and feedback them to the team
  • Gather and analyze the results and report to your project leader according to the overall development schedule (milestones)
  • Perform vehicle tests on the test-track and at chassis dyno for DPF regeneration and emissions monitoring.
  • Use application tools to improve them and to standardize the process.

The profile we are looking for:

  • University Degree in mechanical engineering and minimum 2 years of experience in diesel engine calibration
  • Experience and high interest for engine development and cars development in general
  • Basic computer skills : Word, Excel (macros, charts)
  • Basic programming skills : Matlab, calibration
  • Fluency in English. Other European language is a plus
  • You have an open personality and a hands-on mentality
  • You are able to work in an independent way
  • You are high motivated and persevering
  • You have strong and efficient working methods
