Development Manager, Supply Chain Digitalization

Central Supply Management, a part of Wärtsilä Group Shared Services Centre, is accountable for Sourcing to Contract-, Requisition to Pay-, and Supplier Development processes, tools and reporting development for Wärtsilä globally. 

We are looking for Development Manager for Supply Chain Digitalization development to manage maintenance and development of digital tools in supplier interface.

Possible locations for this position are Wärtsilä current locations in Europe.

Development Manager, Supply Chain Digitalization is accountable for:

  • Developing, deploying and providing operational support for processes and tools in Supplier interface (Wärtsilä Supplier Portal, System to System integrations and API's as example).
  • Unifying the enterprise architectures of Wärtsilä and its suppliers so that they support extended enterprise concept and smart ecosystems
  • Development of related operational development process and way of working to secure long term knowledge sustainability and agility.
  • Development manager is working in close co-operation with Wärtsilä Information Management and business stakeholders.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Define and maintain vision, strategy and roadmap with the Process owners and business stakeholders
  • Actively seek, identify and analyse process and tools development opportunities what would enable better business performance
  • Drive requirements collection, initiative prioritization and development activities in order to fulfil vision and roadmap.
  • Take part into operational development projects in process expert role.
  • Manage and develop key user community
  • Create and maintain end user instructions and training materials for the process and tools. 
  • Provide support for internal and external end users in technical and user management related matters.  

 

Requirements

  • MSc or BSc in Technology or Economics
  • Good communication and presentation skills 
  • Excellent teamwork and co-operation skills in cross-divisional and cross-cultural organization.
  • Experience with SAP MM, Salesforce CRM and integrations are seen as an advantage
  • Minimum 3 years work experience Sourcing, Procurement or similar Process and Tools development tasks
  • Fluency in English
