Job ID: 209441 Location: Vejle Organization: Siemens in Denmark – Siemens Wind Power – http://www.siemens.com/windpower Mode of employment: full time For our Offshore Engineering team, we are looking for a strong Design & Fabrication Planner, who wants to be part of a team of professional planners mainly organized in a project organisation. The Design and Fabrication planner is expected to carry out detailed planning and support the Package Management Team with critical path analysis, monthly updates, proactive follow-up and routine meetings among others. As the department is newly established there is still room for the right candidate to be part of developing the position within the department. What are my responsibilities? You will disciplinary report to Head of Design and Fabrication Planning but primarily work together within a project, assuming the role of Design and Fabrication Planner, where you will refer to the Package Manager. You will in alignment with the Package Management team have the responsibility for the time schedule internally and externally. Therefore it is important that you understand the dependencies and deliverables and how these impact the schedule. Your responsibilities and duties will also include: Ensure that Time Schedules are maintained and updated on a regular basis Conduct routine planning meetings with Engineering Managers and Fabrication Managers Prepare contractual and operational time schedules Prepare what-if scenarios when required Report the Time Schedule impact to Package Management team Register actuals and ensure proper documentation is kept Document of time schedule is kept What do I need to qualify for this job? You hold a degree within Engineering BSc or MSc. You are used to handle many different stakeholders and interfaces, even in stressful environments As a person you are proactive with a detail and process-oriented mindset Preferably, you have experience from the offshore or the wind industry You are able to work in an international environment having excellent English skills, both orally and in writing Knowledge of Danish language is beneficial As a person you have a responsible approach to your work and an analytical approach to your tasks. You are structured and result-orientated; you are able to carry out your tasks even in a sometime hectic and dynamic environment. It is important for this role that you have an outgoing personality, as you will be working with various stakeholders where you will require input. In case you have acquired your skills in alternative ways your application is just as well appreciated. What else do I need to know?
