Would you like to have the responsibility for driving features in agile development, but also have large influence on the roadmap of the features? With a product recognized by leading analysts? That is the possibility that we offer you in Omada where the Product Owner role is fully integrated into the Product Management team.

What will you do?

As a Product Owner you enter into the complex world of Identity and Access Management that will challenge you on your broad technical knowledge. As our solution have a multitude of integration points you may find yourself looking into e.g. CyberArk one day and Azure the next, making sure that we develop seamless integration to them.

The roadmap of our product is defined by our Product Management team (hereunder you) and R&D team, together with inputs from our Professional Service teams, partners and customers. It is important that you contribute in challenging and influencing the roadmap, hereunder to develop user stories and present them for the teams.   

You will also be in charge of driving the features. This involves that you will lead the translation of software features into technical user stories by following the Agile Scrum based software development lifecycle model. Within the product management team you will define software release plans and scope, and coordinate feature backlog for software product releases and their dependencies on each other in close cooperation with the VP for R&D.

Your assignments will among others be to:

  • Create and prioritize the sprint backlog based on product backlog produced by the Product Management team
  • Create detailed user stories for features and define the nonfunctional requirements
  • Specify the technical requirements with the software architects and designing the product user stories
  • Ensuring that good usability principles and appropriate technologies are incorporated into the new features

Besides the above you can also contribute and drive a larger area of assignments, hereunder competitor analyses, white papers, be involved in product marketing etc.

Who are you?

You have at least 3 years’ experience with agile software development as a Product Owner, and have a good toolbox within agile methodologies.You could also have a technical background as developer or architect and plenty of experience with requirement management.  

You are experienced in leading backlog grooming sessions and drive solutions to completion, and how to manage backlogs and system configurations preferable with Microsoft TFS. You also have knowledge of the system design discipline and have the ability to translate customer needs to into product designs and user stories with acceptance criteria.

As a person you have strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and also excellent skills in collaboration with people that enables you to interact with colleagues, cross-functional teams, and third parties. You also have strong presentation skills, including experience having independently presented to the senior management level.

Most important is that you are self-driven, curious and not afraid of making mistakes.

Strong written and verbal English communication skills are required (Danish not required).
