Cook (m/f) (ID: AH-251)

The over 400-year-old and lovingly restored estate is located in the idyllic Lower Bavarian countryside. The employer belongs to the well-known Golf Resort Bad Griesbach, one of the largest tourism establishments in the region with golf courses, first-class hotels, manor houses and numerous restaurants.

The hotel includes 35 comfortable guest rooms, which also provide families with enough comfort. You can strengthen yourself for the next golf game in the rustic-cozy “Stüberln” with a real Bavarian “Brotzeit” or the Bavarian “Schmankerln” or you can just relax in the idyllic inner courtyard.

Tasks:

  • Preparation of meals
  • Compliance with quality standards
  • Careful and professional storage and use of raw materials and products
  • Care, control, cost-conscious use and timely request of all materials used

Requirements:

  • Successfully completed training as cook
  • Several years of work experience
  • Creativity
  • Teamwork and leadership

Frame conditions and benefits for employees:

  • Completed training as cook required
  • Knowledge of Bavarian cuisine are required - but not a precondition.
  • Reliability, teamwork and concentrated work.
  • German knowledge skills at least A2 / B1 level
  • Driving license + motor vehicle are useful to reach the place of work (no public transport!)
  • Staff accommodation about 6 km away, or possibility to rent a small apartment
  • Working time: very flexible, e.g. 20, 30 or 39 hours per week
  • Seasonal employment from April to October 2017, during the winter season it is possible to work in one of the large hotels in Bad Griesbach
