Spine Centre of Southern Denmark - positions itself as the entry point for all spine patients in the Region of Southern Denmark. With 12.000 annual patient journeys the Medical Spine department seeks a consultant in rheumatology



Spine Centre of Southern Denmark in Middelfart is part of Lillebaelt Hospital.

The Spine Centre consists of an outpatient clinic and a research department with a strong research environment. We handle elective diagnosing of spine patients and only operate as an outpatient business. Our main operation is located in the town of Middelfart and we have a satellite operation in the town of Soenderborg.



We are a large department of rheumatology in the Spine Centre of Southern Denmark with more than 85 employees, including 13 doctors and 4 professors. The current consolidation has increased the need for specialists, Ph.D.s and research staff. Within 5 years, it is our ambition to lay the groundwork for strengthening the overall research environment and becoming the Centre of Clinical Excellence within spine research.



Be a part in establishing the direction of spine treatment: We are seeking a consultant in rheumatology with experience in dealing with spine patients from primary or secondary health care

Spine Centre of Southern Denmark is a part of Lillebaelt Hospital which is a consolidated hospital with three distinct profiles; Middelfart Hospital - regional centre for spinal disorders, Kolding Hospital - acute hospital, and Vejle Hospital - specialized in cancer and other major diseases.
