The long-established home care company is inviting applications for Full Time/ Guaranteed Hours Program from caring and compassionate people who want to make a difference in the lives of older people and their families.

Responsibilities:

• You’ll enhance the lives of elder people and their families by delivering a range of non-medical services to seniors like medication reminder to elderly people and making their life simpler

• You’ll be trained, the ‘Home Instead Way’, and you’ll work with clients at different stages of their care journey.

• You’ll bring happiness into the hearts of local seniors, by helping them with daily tasks with light housekeeping work, making home a better place to live.

• You’ll support elderly people in preparation of meal and serving them according to the pre decided diet plan.

• You may be involved in assisting elderly people in providing personal care such as continence Care/toileting/showering/ grooming and Dressing whilst not affecting liberty of Client.

• You’ll may engage in recreational activities with elderly people by participating in Board Games, Cards, Puzzles, Assist with Walking and Exercises as an when required without affecting the liberty of the client.

• With the right training with HomeInstead, you’ll be able to provide more complex care to clients with higher needs, such as long-term illnesses, chronic conditions or Alzheimer’s or other dementias.

Requirements

Who we're looking for

• Full-time Carers: You already work in home care, and have QQI training to support your experience
• Former Nurses / Retirees can also apply

Must Have Requirements

• You must have QQI/ equivalent qualification in health care OR undergoing OR Intend to do QQI qualification in next 6 months

And

• Applicants should be based in Dublin with Full Irish Driving Licence and access to own transport with willingness to work in Dublin Southeast Area. (travel allowance will be provided)
