Haas-Meincke A/S BU Biscuit is part of the Consumer Food Division of the Bühler Group (12,000 FTE in 140 countries) – www.buhlergroup.com. The BU has its HQ in Copenhagen and acts as an independent manufacturer and distributor of baking machinery. The company operates world-wide with its own sales companies and assembly sites in Europe, the Far East and South America. The company executes approx. 100+ projects per year from three main engineering and assembly sites.

The job

Haas-Meincke is located in Skovlunde, Rødkærsbro, Leobendorf and designs, produces and sells complete, high-end industrial baking machinery.

We are seeking a talented individual for a Business Process improvement manager in Engineering and R&D who is responsible for improving organizational capabilities including facilitating company growth, cost reduction, improved efficiency, employee engagement and culture change through the application of high-impact business process improvement initiatives like design and process automation.

You will be part of the Engineering and R&D management team. You will play a key role improving our working processes, establishing new methods of working and driving our internal initiatives.

The Engineering and R&D team uses SAP as ERP system, PTC creo, Autodesk Inventor, Windchill, TIM and several others IT tools.

You will be working closely together with the entire engineering and R&D team, the stakeholders at Unit level and group function level with the overall purpose of supporting daily business execution and sound decision making at all levels in Buhler Biscuit unit, your primary tasks and responsibilities will include:-

  • Analyze and improve business processes to improve overall workflow efficiencies and effectiveness.
  • Document processes, design methods and procedures using standard methodologies and tools.
  • Lead non-conformance investigation, root cause analysis, corrective, and preventive actions.
  • Contribute to the design and implementation of organization-wide process-centric methodologies (i.e. Lean Six Sigma, Kaizen, Metrics, Goal Alignment, etc)
  • Facilitate organizational change, Implement design and process automation of systems.
  • Create and implement a digitization strategy and roadmap

We expect you to have a bachelor or a master degree with focus on Engineering, Informatics, Business or similar. Aside from this, the following qualities are pivotal to achieving the expected results:

Personal qualifications

  • Ability to develop relationships both in person and over the phone, be careful and thorough about detail.
  • Advanced knowledge and experience with Microsoft Excel, Word and Power point,(Excellent programming skills will be an advantage)
  • Experience with robotic process automation in technology companies
  • Experience in standardization and design automation of engineering processes, digital process automation and robotic process automation
  • Ability to set and meet team and individual aggressive deadlines in a fast-paced environment, to work on complex projects with general direction and minimal guidance and closed down timely your tasks.
  • Strong analytical mindset, communication skills combined with a highly structured approach and focus on processes.
  • English is our corporate language, and we expect that you have a high level in both written and spoken English. Danish/German knowledge would be an advantage.
  • You have a global mind-set and you must be able to collaborate and create value-adding relationships in a truly international and multi-cultural organization with global stakeholders.
  • As a person, you are a team-player, structured and innovative in your approach and you take responsibility and ownership of your deliverables
  • Ability to effectively drive change while maintaining and enhancing internal customer relationships, to comprehend and interpret documents and data
  • Lead process workouts to identify and document existing business processes, as well as propose enhancements to business processes that improve efficiency, boost productivity or address identified needs
  • Lead team to critically examine, rethink, redesign and drive sustainable performance improvement.

Desired:

  • Business process engineering certification desired (i.e. Six Sigma Yellow Belt, Six Sigma Green Belt, Six Sigma Black Belt)
  • Prior experience leading large, complex and cross functional projects
  • Experience in optimization and implementation of value stream
