BackOffice Analyst

Our client is a major investment bank, looking for a Back-office Analyst, to assure the timely settlement of both cash and securities for all products traded by the Bank

The hired professional will have as main responsibilities:

- Payments execution;

- Perform daily monitoring and management of the settlement of securities and derivatives trades;

- Banking products – Loans, Deposits, Trade Finance, Invoice financing and forfaiting;

- Trading Products – Money Market, Spots, FX Swaps;

- Derivatives – IRS, FX / Equity Options, Structured Products, Non Deliverable Forwards, Deliverable Forwards, Futures, Credit Default Swaps;

- Equity and Fixed Income sales;

- Daily reconciliation;

- Derivatives confirmation analysis and control.

The ideal candidate should meet the following profile: 

- Degree in Finance, Management or Economics;

- Experience with securities settlements, namely within Clearstream and Euroclear environment (preferential being given to the first one);

- +4 years in a similar role;

- SWIFT and Payments experience (mandatory);

- Strong interpersonal and team skills;

- Pragmatic, proactive and self-learning individual;

- Proficiency in English (mandatory);

- Self-motivated and well organized, with the ability to prioritize tasks and work well under pressure;

- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word and Powerpoint.
