We are looking for a professional with experience in the development of the complex 3D+ motion-related automated industrial machines.
Job description:
- The person will take part in designing, implementing and testing mechanical and automated hardware assemblies. The equipment includes electrical, electronic, mechanical, optical, and pneumatic components.
- The person's primary task is to develop motion and process control algorithms for laser-based glass-processing machine. It includes design of software sub-modules for the automation system.
- The person is also responsible for electrical and automation design of industrial machines.
Required education and experience:
- Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Automation or related technical field
- Experience in automation systems engineering and conceptual design, especially high-speed linear stages and PLC’s
- Strong knowledge in PLC programming (Beckhoff, Omron, ABB, Schneider, etc.)
- Strong knowledge of control engineering
- Knowledge in electrical and automation design (AutoCAD Electrical, CADS Electric or similar)
- Verbal and written English skills are critical.
Advantage skills:
- Knowledge of C#, .NET, G-code, and CL Data, Python or other scripting language
- Knowledge of Electronics circuit design and ability to work with PCB schematics and layouts
- Experience with industrial lasers and material processing
- Experience in 3D modeling, e.g. SolidWorks, Siemens NX, Fusion 360, or similar
