Applications are invited by the Luxembourg office of Maples Fiduciary Services for the position of

Assistant Vice President - Client Accounting

who, under the supervision of a Vice President and/or Senior Vice President, who will be responsible for assisting in the daily administration of a portfolio of Luxembourg SPV’s, including processing day to day accounting transactions, reconciliation with bank and broker positions, the preparation of monthly management accounts and annual financial statements in Luxembourg GAAP and IFRS. He/she will also be responsible for ensuring all tax filings, regulatory and ad-hoc reporting is completed in accordance with regulatory and deal requirements.

Additionally, he/she will be required to deliver high levels of client service, while ensuring that each relationship is compliant with internal policies and procedures.

The successful candidate will hold a professional accountancy qualification (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) with a minimum of 2-5 years experience, ideally gained in financial services. He/she will have a strong knowledge of Luxembourg corporate accounting, gained either in a Fiduciary or Audit related business.

The successful candidate will be expected to demonstrate strong written and verbal communication skills. Excellent English (written and verbal) is required and business French and German would be an advantage.
