Marine Global Business Support Centre is looking for an Assistant Manager, Trade Finance and Cash Management.

GBSC is a global competence and expertise centre for FICO activities in project business within Marine. The main functions are project creation, taxation, trade finance, invoicing and customs, period end closing and project control. GBSC is responsible for ensuring high class quality in optimised processes and usage of tools. GBSC is providing these services to an increasing number of legal companies.

This position is permanent and it's located in Vaasa, Finland.

Responsibilities: - Providing Marine Sales and Legal & Contract Management financial support in items related to contractual payment terms - Supporting Project Management in trade finance related matters ensuring that contractual payment terms are fulfilled by the customers - Application and controlling of trade finance instruments mitigating Wärtsilä's risks under such financial transactions - Forecasting and monitoring of incoming project payments - Participating in development initiatives belonging to Marine GBSC Trade Finance responsibility area.

Requirements: - Commercial education (Bachelor degree or M. Sc.) - 2-5 years working experience in foreign trade, preferably trade finance - Good knowledge of trade finance - General knowledge of cash management, credit management, financial accounting and foreign exchange rate risks in international trade - Good skills in Microsoft Office, especially Excel - Good knowledge of SAP is seen as an advantage - Good command of English both in writing and speaking. Other language skills such as Russian are considered as an advantage. - Good interpersonal, communication and team working skills with positive attitude.
