We have set an ambitious growth strategy of creating the future of dairy in Arla Foods. In the next at least three years we will be working agile to build a new Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) system for Arla Foods. We are in the start-up phase so by joining now you will get the opportunity to put you mark on the way we implement PLM. Of course in close collaboration with Arla’s Lead Enterprise Architect for Information – and a large team of passionate individuals (100-150) from Business and IT. To give you some Arla numbers, we produce 13.0 billion kg milk a year, and our revenue in 2016 was 9.6 billion Euro. Our brands include Lurpak, Castello and many more.

Drive one of the largest PLM programs in Europe

We are looking for a skilled Senior PLM Solution Architect who can pave the way for architecture and global solutions to improve transparency throughout Arla's PLM functions. Your domain of expertise is the PLM functions spanning the majority of Arla Foods’ value chain. Your overriding task will be to ensure that the strategic initiatives within the PLM program are aligned while supporting our global business with a minimum of interruption to the daily operations. This is a unique opportunity to join of the largest PLM programs in the Nordic region, perhaps even in Europe right now.

Based in our headquarter in Aarhus you will drive the global target architecture for Arla's PLM systems and take the responsibility for setting direction towards an optimized and transparent architecture. You will be part of the PLM Program Management team where you will work closely with the Business Owner and the Release Train Engineer (Program Manager).

Through close cooperation with the Lead Enterprise Architect you will engage with architects and business stakeholders to align specific needs with the long term vision and strategy. You will also be an important stakeholder in delivering specific enterprise architectural services, like selection of IT platforms and assist to create a solution roadmap. To provide top class sparring, you will keep yourself updated on recent trends and topics in technical and business domains. Strong PLM experience required

Your track record covers solid experience with PLM products in a preferably international setup. Your professional background includes application design with different technologies and you are familiar with dealing with topics like information security, process design, application architecture and data modelling. You have a strong, value stream based process understanding, combined with analytical capacity which allow you to define architecture that meets strategy and business needs. You have excellent communication and interpersonal skills and are capable of establishing strong networks with key stakeholders and IT specialists in a challenging matrix environment. You are capable to analyze complex disciplinary problems and summarize them in a simple and understandable way that supports executive decision making. At the same time, you must be a good listener and able to see matters from your colleague's point of view. Experience working agile and in the FMCG (Fast Moving Consumer Goods) industry is an advantage. Finally, you have an excellent command of written and spoken English.
