You will work in a small agile team that does both green field development and updates or modifies existing software.

The projects usually have a limited timeline, so you won’t be stuck doing the same project for ten years. 

You will be able try out different frameworks and technologies, and these will not be limited to just Java. 

Often you will have a chance to develop both the front-end Javascript/AngularJS/whatever and the back-end architecture (mostly Java EE). 

You must also be able to talk to the business people and understand what they need.  

If you are or want to become a full-stack developer with a broad outlook, this job is for you.

Your skills and experience

  • You have considerable Java EE experience but you aren’t a Java purist
  • You are happy and able to develop a Javascript/AngularJS front end or to program a SQL database if needed
  • It’s great if you have experience programming web applications
  • You are able to talk to business people in non-IT talk and understand what they need
  • You have studied IT in a university or have considerable IT experience
  • You have worked in an agile team and used one of the Agile methodologies
  • You know how to use Eclipse, Maven, Subversion, Jira, Hudson/Jenkins
  • Fluency in spoken and written English is a must
  • You are able to work in a team that spreads over several countries
