A/P- Accounts Payable (M/F), Luxemburg

Being a daughter company of Central Glass, Tokyo, a stock listed corporate entity with 7000 employees worldwide, we supply Automotive Glass to German premium OEMs. We are the only production plant of Central Glass´ automotive business in Europe with about 700 employees.
We have an immediate opening for an:
A/P- Accounts Payable (M/F)
(fixed-term contract)
Directly reporting to the Finance Manager, the A/P is responsible for various functions within the Plant Accounting Department including, monitoring financial documents and procedures, reconciling bank statements and VAT declarations.
Role:
- • Support daily/weekly/monthly reports and the month-end financial close process
- • Manage full A/P process
- • Ensure timely bank payments
- • Prepare VAT declarations
- • Comply with financial policies and regulations
Profile:
- • 3+ years of experience in A/P; experience in a manufacturing environment preferred
- • Excellent knowledge of A/P regulations and procedures
- • Fluent in English, French and German
- • Advanced/Intermediate skill level with Microsoft Office Suite; Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- • Hands-on approach to problem solving and analysis
- • Strong Analytical Skills
- • Flexible, creative, autonomous and self-motivated
- • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work within a team-oriented environment
- • Timeliness in meeting deadlines and due dates
- • Excellent customer service orientation that provides friendly, professional, and timely interaction among business partners, co-workers, and external vendors
