With headquarter based in Friedrichshafen, the world's second largest automotive supplier is one of the world's leading companies in the field of driveline and chassis technology. The company is looking for reinforcement in Saarbrücken. As a globally active technology group, the company supplies systems for the mobility of passenger cars, commercial vehicles and industrial technology.

YOUR PROFILE:

  • Degree in computer science, mathematics, electrical engineering or a comparable subject area with sound theoretical knowledge
  • Very good knowledge in machine learning methods as well as other Artificial Intelligence methods
  • Preferably several years of experience in the area of algorithm development of Artificial Intelligence respectively machine learning
  • Very good knowledge in the area of object-oriented programming (C/C++, Python, Matlab) and Data Mining
  • Ability to work in a team, strong communication skills and a structured, independent way of working as well as a good command of spoken and written English, German is a plus

YOUR TASKS:

  • Development of new algorithm methods in the area of Artificial Intelligence for example machine learning and their application for the issues of automated driving, vehicle motion and driving train control, predictive maintenance, etc.
  • Development of algorithms in different simulation environments (MiL, SiL, HiL) for internal and external customers and their support
  • Testing of software and functions in simulation, vehicles or in the laboratory
  • Use of the required software and development processes according to Automotive SPICE
