Accounts Payable Analyst Queries & Disbursements (P2P) - with German or French

Position Summary:

This multi-facet position is responsible for Disbursement execution, Vendor Query Management and AP reconciliations (GRIR) for EMEA. Disbursements - It runs the integrity, compliance, timeliness, and accuracy of payments, including ledger and audit reporting. Responsible for the maintenance of the systems, payments uploads in bank platforms, adapting them to handle supplier changes and internal controls guidelines. To reconcile relevant ledgers at month end, analyze transactions and prepare related reports. Ensuring timely response to Internal & External queries regarding invoice payments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Performs all functions associated with execution, monitoring and quality payment runs as required.
• Ensures all payments to suppliers are accurate and paid on schedule; this includes but it’s not limited to electronic funds transfers, wires, and checks.
• Monitors and troubleshoots payments rejections on a daily basis to ensure payment due date adherence.
• Safeguards duplicate payments integrity controls.
• Responds payments inquiries and troubleshoots accordingly.
• Adheres to Internal Audit guidelines and provides reporting as requested.
• Works with internal partners to ensure resolution of any bank account open item.
• Maintains and updates all process documentation.
• Ensures quality in customer service levels are maintained both internally and externally.
• Reconciles vendor statements monthly; resolves queries and liaising with vendors and local buyers.
• Ensures timely management and reconciliation of AP clearing and vendor accounts.
• Ensures timely management and reconciling GRIR accounts and liaising with vendors and local buyers.
• Sets up Direct Debits.

• This position interacts with various levels of personnel both inside and outside the company. That interaction requires good communication skills and judgment, tact and diplomacy with internal and external customers in troubleshooting problems and communicating status.

• Experience in high volume, multi-entity, a multi-currency processing function.
• Understanding and appreciation of audit, SOX requirements & VAT rules.
• Good understanding of EMEA VAT requirements.
• Strong Analytical Skills.

Education & Experience:

• University or College degree.
• 1-3 years of relevant working experience in Shared Services or Global Business Services preferred in an Accounts Payable function.
• Experienced with SAP, Oracle, JD Edwards Financial Software a plus.
• Need to be able to process large volumes of information efficiently.

• Fluency in German or French required.
