One assistant professor position is available in the group of Professor Knud J. Jensen, Department of Chemistry, University of Copenhagen.
The position is available for 2 years from January 1st 2016 or soon thereafter.
The assistant professor candidate should hold a PhD degree in bioorganic chemistry. The candidate should have a strong publication record and postdoctoral experience. Experience with the practice of solid-phase peptide synthesis, automated instruments for solid-phase synthesis, microwave heating in peptide and organic chemistry, and carbohydrate binding proteins is required.
The candidate must work actively within an international, cross-disciplinary group of researchers: therefore strong communication and interpersonal skills are required. Excellent written and spoken English is mandatory.

The assistant professor position is for two years. Salary, supplement, pension and terms of employment follow the agreement between the Ministry of Finance and The Academics Central Organization. Currently, the assistant professor salary begins at 385,140 DKK yearly plus pension (taxable). Supplements can be added according to qualifications. Non-Danish and Danish applicants may be eligible for tax reduction, if they have not lived in Denmark the last 10 years. Salary is paid according to the agreement between the Ministry of Finance and the Danish Federation of Professional Associations (AC).
