About the organisation
ZMM Nova Zagora was established in 1970 as a main manufacturer of axles, shafts and gear wheels for all machine-building companies in Bulgaria at that time, belonging to a united state structure. Following its deep specialization in producing rotation parts, in 1974 the company started production of gear boxes for universal lathes and in 1977 of automatic gearboxes for CNC machines. In 1980 started production of assembly units for universal lathes.
In 1984 in the company included lathe CA 161 to its product list. The model was awarded a gold medal at the International Technical Fair Plovdiv 1986.
Over the years ZMM Nova Zagora became supplier of more than 30 machine-builders in the world. ZMM Nova Zagora has produced parts and details for more than 300,000 machine tools, gears for over 200 000 engines, over 15,000 meters automatic production lines for Germany, Russia, etc., and for the past 10 years over 200 000 piston rods for heavy hydraulic cylinders.
Since its establishment until now ZMM Nova Zagora has produced over 11 million gear ratchets (gears, shaft gears and spline shafts) embedded in various types of machine tools operating around the world.
