Role

This new Dublin based role will involve taking customer acquisition rates to new levels and building performance from significant sized internal sales team. It requires hands on management of sales team, covering several European markets, and will have full responsibility for achieving sales objectives and scaling up.

 

Key areas of responsibility

  • Manage sales team to achieve objectives
  • Succeed in generating new business sales in outbound indirect sales team, selling via VARs, telcos, MFD distributors, consultants, system integrators, and software publishers
  • Lead deployment of sales initiatives
  • Deliver revenue targets and associated KPI’s including managing sales pipelines and activities of team
  • Identify, prospect, negotiate and implement commercial agreements with strategic channel partners.
  • Ensure deployment of sales action plans with channel partners including motivating partner sales teams to provide sales opportunities and access to prospective clients
  • Ensure optimum management of sales cycle through to closing with careful attention to professionalism, efficiency and reporting
  • Work to deploy national and international account plans with laser focus of turning marketing agreement into sales.

Skills and experience

  • Minimum of 3/5 years sales management experience of managing a team selling technology solutions to corporate clients.
  • Strong sales management leadership and excellent capacity to motivate and inspire confidence in others, both internally and externally
  • Good general knowledge of technology partner selling
  • Creative and quick thinking
  • Planning and organizational skills to manage significant team and portfolio of partners
  • Ability to use and identify appropriate communication methods to work with people from different cultures around European locations
  • Availability to travel
  • European language skills a plus
  • Proven personal sales track record of achievement
  • Sound IT knowledge – understands the relationships between business issues and IT solutions, understands IT basics, jargon and market opportunities.
  • Ability to communicate effectively and good interpersonal skills
