Experience great professional challenges in close cooperation with colleagues

The department "Prototyping & Mould Manufacturing" is responsible of procuring and optimizing injections moulds for the production sites within the LEGO Group. We are in charge of both element design, manufacturing of prototypes, construction and manufacturing of tools as well as optimization and the running-in of tools. In close cooperation with different teams you will be using the latest CAD/CAM IT tools for CNC milling as well as operating the latest High Speed 3 and 5 axis machining centres.

Common to both areas is the high focus on planning and manufacturing of moulds according to schedule as well as the need to deliver the right quality at the right time.

This position will give you a unique opportunity to develop your professional knowledge as we are involved in the moulds from start to finish.

Your professional and personal qualifications

You are educated as a Tool Maker and/or as a Tool Technician and have established an extensive experience within construction and manufacturing of injection moulds.

We consider it an advantage if you have experience with NX, HSM Works and Powermill as well as LEAN. You have a flair for IT and are a quick learner. You prioritize time and effort to be able to deliver the agreed quality. You recognize a good result and have an eye for improvements. You must participate actively in projects and be willing to learn and develop your knowledge within the area. It is a must that you are able to speak and understand English.

You are flexible, quality-minded and have good interpersonal skills. You see the big picture and have a
structured approach to the tasks - also in stressful situations . You communicate openly and are able
to embrace criticism and input from others to further develop your knowledge and capability.
It would be an advantage if you have experience in R&D or prototype development of plastic
moulds.
