Project Manager BASF

BASF is looking for project managers who want to challenge their technical and people management skills by being responsible for big projects (scope; 100 000 - 20 million euro's). You're accountable for the total scope of the project and you're responsible for your project team. BASF is the leading chemical company in the world. Main responsabilities as a Project Manager Being a real project manager; broad field of interest rather than being an expert in one specific aspect (of the project). You have also a good process technical expertise (for example; dimensioning). You are the single point of contact tot the customer. You represent BASF as a company to contractors, customers,... You have a good practical sense and a critical mindset so you can challenge ideas (of customers, project team members,...) and are capable to explore and evaluate alternatives. As a project manager, you're in charge of overseeing the total lifecycle of the product on a technical and economical level (Frond - end loading). You have an analytical mind and can analyse risks, changes, ... and you take responsibility for the follow-up and implementation of the concepts. You have people management skills so you can easily motivate people and can adjust your team members if necessary. Multitasking is your second nature (without losing the bigger picture), you're familiar with time management so you can oversee every stage of the project and can pro-actively invoke the right person at the right team. Last but nog least; you have a quality and safety focussed mindset.
