At South Warwickshire NHS Foundation Trust we pride ourselves in offering a welcoming, friendly and approachable environment for all of our staff, and those we care for.
We are trusted to deliver safe, effective and compassionate care and these are values we keep at the heart of everything we do.
We have exciting developments taking place over a number of our sites, so there has never been a better time to join our growing organisation. Over the last 5 years we've invested over £36million in our facilities and we're continuing to invest alongside this in our teams. We have big plans for the next five years and are looking for friendly, caring people to join us.
The staff we have at SWFT are just as important to us as the care we give our patients.
That’s why we’re committed to ensuring that your opinions and ideas are valued and implemented as much as possible. It’s because of this we’ve featured in the top 20% of all trusts nationally for our staff engagement scores in the annual Staff Survey for the last 3 years.
Development and training is also imperative to us and we will always ensure that the right support is available to you. Our Practice Development Team offers support to all registered practitioners in the Trust and this includes supporting our newly qualified nurses. To help with this we run a twelve-month Preceptorship programme, where all newly registered nurses are allocated a suitable mentor with lots of experience who will guide and help you in your new role.
As our Trust's values are so crucial to the way we work every day, we're really keen to hear from candidates who will demonstrate them when joining our team.
We have a number of vacancies across the Trust at any one time, however following investment in some of our services, we have particular vacancies in a number of our nursing teams based at Warwick Hospital. Ideally these roles will suit people with an interest in medical and surgical roles, working with a range of patients and patient conditions associated with Elderly Care.
We are also recruiting for a number of nursing positions across our community services throughout Warwickshire.
With our central location and great transport links we’re closer than you might think.
We are located in the heart of Shakespeare Country with easy access to the motorway network and a good railway service. Warwickshire is accessible from a number of nearby cities including, Birmingham, Leicester, Northampton, Oxford and Worcester.
Surrounded by a collection of picturesque towns and villages, there is always a lot to see and do across the County. Numerous sports and leisure venues, theatres, parks and great shopping facilities make Warwickshire an idyllic place to live and work.
And as well as enjoying where you work, we want all of our staff to lead happy and healthy lives. That’s why we offer a number of benefits to support this, such as flexible working opportunities, Childcare Vouchers, an on-site subsidised restaurant at Warwick Hospital and the ‘Going the Extra Mile’ (GEM) Awards awarded every month for outstanding achievements and annual long service awards.
We want you to join us and be part of our Warwickshire family.
