At GN Store Nord, we lead major technology shifts with intelligent audio solutions. And from our HQ in Ballerup, Denmark, you will be joining our Infrastructure Architecture team, consisting of 50 dedicated colleagues working on the infrastructure platforms.

We have a close working relationship with the ITO team in China, making it necessary to be flexible when it comes to meeting times – a flexibility that of course goes both ways.

We are professionally strong within our respective areas of expertise. So even though you will get a huge degree of responsibility, you will never feel alone, as we have an open environment with plenty of room for professional support – and friendly banter.

Draw the big lines for our network architecture

You will become primarily responsible for building and securing operational stability for the GN Wide Area Network, Local networks, and Wireless networks, including partner access. Furthermore, you will play a key role in keeping GN Network solutions technically up to date and secure, as well as enable the cloud and work-from-anywhere strategy. 

Generally, you will be working in teams with the newest technology and should always be ready to adapt to new features. As this role is new, you will have a fair amount of impact on the direction it takes, though we expect that you will be working with:

• Technical design and detailed technical documentation
• Driving the development of the LAN & WIFI environments within GN, enabling stakeholders to utilize the platform
• Documentation and supporting of the platform
• Design and review of network-related security measures
• Building and cultivating a “Delivery Excellence” code, with high focus on quality management and timely deliverances

We do not expect you to be an expert in the following technologies, since we find your motivation, curiosity, and willingness to learn more important – but if you are curious, our current technology base for network components is based on Cisco, Citrix, HPE Aruba, Checkpoint, Zscaler and Aviatrix.

A well-versed architect with an adaptive mindset

As a person, you thrive in a highly specialized environment, where knowledge sharing and close cooperation in a dynamic setting motivates your creative approach.

When it comes to your background, we are open to a range of experiences – we do imagine that you:

• Have solid infrastructure experience with expertise knowledge in the network area
• Have experience working after agile principles
• Perhaps have worked with some of the following – otherwise you will get a solid introduction: Gitlab/Jenkins, Terraform, Ansible, IAC using C#, powershell, Azure CLI, ARM templates, Aviatrix
• Have knowledge and experience with Citrix, Netscaler, Aruba wifi
• Its important to note, that there will be a requirement having hands on as well, implied in the “take ownership” of things.
