You will become acquainted with all diseases and prognoses. Your assessments will not be purely medical; you will also consider the social context. • For the individual and for society You will draw up an advice or decision based on the medical history, your examintaio and social security legislation. Because of your expertise, people can move on with their lives. You will learn to rason your decision clearly. • Knowledge development labour & health You will contribute to medical knowledge development in the field of labour and health. Working as a physician at UWV As a physician at UWV, you work together with fellow physicians, labour experts, reintegration coaches and social nurses. The focus of your first 6 months shall be on training. You will be coached by an ín-company’trainer and you work under the supervision of an experienced social insurance physician. You take your time for the claimants and are able to pass a well-considered judgement. You will develop, among other things, your communication and consulting skills. After completing the specialisation as social insurance physician, you will work with a medical secretary or a social nurse using the task delegation working method. At UWV, the balance between work and private life is very good, you will work during regular office hours. What are the job requirements? ·You have a degree in medicine. ·You have BIG registration. ·You master the Dutch language at C1 level. ·You are committed to claimants and passionate about your profession. ·You are willing to learn about social security legislation. What do we offer? ·We offer you a 12-month contract for (at least) 32 hours per week, with the prospect of a permanent contract. ·Gross salary is a minimum of € 4.641,54 and a maximum of € 6.425,29 based on a 38-hour working week). ·After your basic training, you may opt for specialised training to become a social insurance physician, for which purpose UWV collaborates with external trainers. This four-year specialisation will also be paid by us. ·As a social security physician-task delegation, you can reach scale 12 (maximum of € 7.121,31 based on a 38-hour working week). ·In addition to the financial perspectives, there is a labour market allowance, which may increase to € 775,- per month.
