Senior Project Manager

Requirements

Responsibilities

• Set up, monitor and continuously fine tune Project planning (Scope, Price, Timelines, Risks, Resources and Key Deliverables);
• Prepare Statement of Work (SoW), financials (Budget, P&L )  based on scope of work and resource requirements;
• Facilitate issue resolution;
• Lead the team in working through project changes;
• Provide project updates on a consistent basis to various stakeholders (internal & external) about progress (Scope, Price, Timelines, Risks, Resources and Key Deliverables);
• Manage contracts with vendors and suppliers by assigning tasks and communicating  expected deliverables:
• Utilise industry standards throughout the entire project execution (e.g., Scrum):
• Measure project performance to identify areas for improvement.

Qualifications for Project Manager

• Bachelor's degree or higher in computer science, business,  or economically oriented education;
• 5-8 years of project management and related experience (Preferably in Software development industry);
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred or in alternative certification and proven experience in agile project management (e.g., CSPO and CSM certifications);
• Proven ability to solve problems creatively;
• Strong familiarity with project management software tools, methodologies and industry standards;
• Experience seeing projects through the full life cycle;
• Excellent analytical skills;
• Strong interpersonal skills and extremely resourceful attitude;
• Proven ability to complete projects according to outlined scope, budget, and timeline;
• Proven ability to manage the client relationship, including selling the next project;
• Fluent in English (B2 to C1);
• Fluent in Portuguese.​
