JOB DESCRIPTION CNC BENDING MACHINE OPERATOR/PROGRAMMER

Are you experienced in the sheet metal industry? And have you previously worked as a CNC programmer or CNC operator? Then this vacancy is something for you!

As a CNC bending operator/programmer you will work with bending metal components. This work will be in a two-shift system (first shift: 06.00 – 14:00, second shift: 14:00 – 22:00). Initially, you can work with pre-determined programs, meaning your role is that of a CNC operator. In due time, you can grow in your role and add more programming to your role. If you are already experienced in CNC programming, this can happen sooner. 

Your daily tasks consist of:

• Setting up and operating the CNC bending machine;
• Ensuring the process goes well and check up on the end products;
• Fix malfunctions and ensuring daily maintenance. It is important that you are a good planner and that you prepare your activities to ensure the sheet metal department runs as smoothly as possible. 

ARE YOU THE CANDIDATE?

• Vocational technical degree OR university (of applied sciences) degree, with a strong interest in CNC machining and the sheet metal industry;
• Experience as a CNC operator or programmer and willingness to work on a CNC bending machine for the next few years, developing into a programmer;
• You can read technical drawings and you know which tools to use;
• You are very eager to learn and you work accurately. You take the initiative to learn new things and improve the workflow;
• You are looking to move to the Netherlands for the long term;
• You speak fluent English and are willing to learn Dutch.

The company specializes in producing customer-specific products from both sheet- and roll material for OEM companies. The production facility is flexible, meaning it can handle both small and larger series of products. In recent years, large investments have been made in increasing knowledge and investing in technologies. One of the most recent investments has to do with the digitization of the production process, with which they are making big steps towards becoming an even better supplier, besides growing rapidly as a company. The company currently has around 140 employees.
