Midland Steel Reinforcement is seeking BIM Rebar Detailers to join our technical team based in Mountmellick, Ireland. We offer excellent package and a full integration in a very qualified BIM environment. This role involves assisting the BIM/Technical Manager in overall project planning, detailing development and coordination between all disciplines, managing and adhering to office/client BIM standards. 

Requirements: 

  • Reinforcement experience 

  • Autocad experience is essential, Tekla Structures is desirable 

  • The ability to read, understand and interpret reinforcement drawings and design intents 

  • Ability to prioritise workload according to deadlines. 

  • Knowledge of basic construction processes and procedures, modern methods of construction experience is an advantage 

  • Advanced PC skills, specifically Microsoft Windows Applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, Sharepoint, Teams and AutoCAD). 

  • Ability to work as part of a team 

  • Attention to detail 

  

Key duties & Responsibilities: 

  • BIM modelling and creation using Trimble (Tekla Structures) 

  • Monitor modelling for any clashing and update drawings 

  • Follow document control process
