Medical Physicist (m/f)

Main responsibilities

• Working with medical physicists on specifications and designing of software and hardware systems they are using.
• Working on developing calibration and quality assurance tools and procedures for systems for particle- and radiotherapy.
• Translating proton- and radiotherapy dosimetry and calibration standards and guidelines into new calibration and quality assurance tools and procedures.
• Working with medical physicists to integrate calibration and quality assurance tools into medical devices in radiation therapy.
• Preparing and executing installation, commissioning, verification and validation procedures for medical devices in radiation therapy.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• At least B.Sc. in Physics, Medical Physics or other related technical disciplines.
• Previous experience with radiation therapy equipment is considered a bonus point, but not an excluding factor.
• Fluency in spoken and written English.
• Developed communication and collaboration skills and an open mind for discussion with the team.
