Cyber Security is part of Vestas Power Solutions that designs and delivers modern, secure and maintainable OT solutions. It aims to create value for Vestas and our customers with future solutions using the latest technology and security trends to detect the potential threats before they become real.

 

Responsibilities

As a Security Specialist, you will provide architectural guidance for the team working on our products and solutions designed to coordinate the cybersecurity opportunities across a diverse suite of ICS components. Your focus will be on:

  • Implementing, managing, monitoring and upgrading security measures for the protection of the OT devices in our Wind Power Plants
  • Mapping Cyber Security requirements to a Generic Cyber Security architecture that is durable and reliable
  • Designing future Cyber Security architecture for our solutions (lifecycle, end-2end)
  • Engaging with our value chain representatives to ensure alignment on the architecture for all stages in the lifecycle, from production through commissioning to service operations
  • Providing an architecture with the agreed-upon balance between security posture and usability
  • Ensuring that the OT data and infrastructure is protected by enabling the appropriate security controls
  • Participating in the change management process
  • Engaging in Cyber Security Incident handled when needed with the assistance of the team

 

Qualifications

  • Degree in Computer Science or related
  • Detailed knowledge of industry standards within this area, primarily IEC 62443, IEC 62351
  • Experience with Python/Bash/PowerShell and/or other scripting languages/tools is good-have-have
  • Fluency in technical English both oral and in writing
  • Requirements writing
  • Great awareness of cybersecurity trends and hacking techniques
  • Project/Feature execution and change management
  • Good but generic knowledge on IT/ICS security, risk management
  • Knowledge about computer forensics analysis, ethical hacking, security testing, etc.
