We are looking for an Expert, Cyber Security to our newly established Power Systems & Controls team. Power Systems & Controls is responsible for developing and maintaining the products, solutions and technologies needed for plant electrical systems, automation & control solutions as well as reliable power systems. Our vision is to enable fully autonomous power plants and power systems, and this requires safe and reliable solutions.

 

In this role you will work with the whole Power Systems & Controls team to implement safe and secure solutions.

 

Responsibilities

  • Know and follow relevant cyber security standards and requirements in the energy market
  • Turn the requirements into tangible solutions that can be integrated into our products
  • Work together with the product owners and teams to improve the security of our systems
  • Connect the Power Systems & Controls team with cyber security expertise within and outside of Wärtsilä
  • Take a holistic view on the systems and solutions used in the Energy Business and ensure the whole chain is secure
  • Support sales and delivery projects concerning project specific requirements and the needed solutions
  • Raise the awareness and understanding of cyber security in the organisation through internal presentations and trainings
  • Proactively connect with customers to understand their needs and expectations
  • Drive Wärtsilä’s Purpose and demonstrate Wärtsilä’s Values

 

Requirements

  • Knowledge of recognized international standards associated with the cybersecurity of industrial control systems (i.e. ISA/IEC 62443) and regulations and how to apply them
  • Solid understanding of security development lifecycle, software and product development
  • Experience of operating systems, IT/OT technologies and protocols and network infrastructure equipment
  • Good understanding of, and experience working with Industrial Control Systems and related technology such as SCADA, DCS, PLC, IoT solutions, Historians etc.
  • Experience in cyber security controls such as firewalls, access control, authentication, anti-virus/whitelisting, patching, IDS/IPS, logging and SIEM.
  • Proven track record of finding practical solutions from standards and legislations
  • Experience of connectivity solutions and cyber security implications
  • Good workshop facilitation skills
  • Co-ordination and collaborations skills
  • Good level written and verbal communication skills
  • Fluent written and spoken English
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Automation and Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering/Science or an equivalent relevant technical degree and professional experience
  • Cyber security certifications (like for example: CISP, CISM, CISA, GIAC, 62433, …)  are considered as a plus
