  • As our new Mechanical Engineer, you will work with mechanical design and calculations for Boilers and Boiler Systems. You will be a part of a team of experienced and dedicated colleges and report to the Manager of the department.

    About the job

    Our new mechanical engineer must be able to perform mechanical calculations and selection of materials according to norms and standards. You will participate in test of new products as well as redeveloped products utilizing good engineering practice methodologies.

    Your primary tasks will be:

    • Stress analysis using FEM methods
    • Support new and existing product development with mechanical calculations on pressure parts according to norms and standards
    • Support with mechanical calculations for root cause analysis during claim handling
    • Analyse mechanical products by applying principles of mechanics, thermodynamics, heat transfer, and materials to their design
    • Participate in design and testing products and in our Test & Training Centre
    • Provide engineering information by answering questions and requests from various stakeholders (technical support, documentation etc.)

    To be a success in this position you have a responsibility to maintain a high level of technical know-how by constantly seeking new knowledge both internally and externally.

     

    What you know

    You have a degree within mechanical engineering at bachelor or master level with experience from a larger industrial organisation. Your previous job titles are mechanical engineer, development engineer or similar.

    Being able to conduct FEM analysis is a prerequisite for filling the position.

    As part of a global organisation, speaking and writing English is a prerequisite.
