Nurture and grow our new product development department

Joining us at our offices in Ikast, you will head our Power Converters Department, which is part of our Global Technology & Innovation department.

The newly established and still growing team consists of engineers, all highly specialised within power converter hardware and software. The team handles both product and platform development tasks, and they have created a work environment where they exchange ideas and challenge each other to come up with new and innovative solutions.

This provides you with the perfect starting point as you join them to further develop and nurture the innovative culture in this brand new department.

Ensure ground-breaking and new-to-the-world solutions

Taking the lead in this highly prioritised area, it will be up to you to ensure the construction of innovative, competitive and modern power converter products and solutions. Doing so, you will be working closely with your team by setting the direction not only for them but for the power converter area within our organisation as a whole.

In short, your key tasks will be to:

• Develop and manage the department to ensure high performance that live up to our strategic goals
• Actively participate in the concept development
• Ensure testing and verification of all solutions to ensure a superior quality
• Set up and ensure tech support for strategic business units, so the team can assist with dedicated client projects
• Ensure that key stakeholders receive training in the product line offerings 
• Collaborate with our customers’ development departments and university research centres to scout new technology and generally create and maintain an international network of peers
• Spread knowledge of new technologies to other areas of our company

You have extensive experience with power converter

As a person, you are self-driven and possess a professional and creative mindset. Moreover, you are a natural leader with an innate ability to attract and develop creative and innovative employees.

Moreover, we imagine that you:

• Hold an MSc within power electronics
• Have solid experience within product development both as a product developer and as a product development manager with department and team responsibility
• Have a proven track record within power electronic product development and design
• Are fluent in English
