Information for Jobseekers

Dear applicants,

We are organizing this event especially for you! At the online-fair you will have the opportunity to get acquainted at first-hand with the opportunities for realization at the labour market in Bulgaria and to establish contact with a wide range of employers. You will have the opportunity to explore and select the most suitable job for you and apply for it, and upon approval by the employer, within the framework of the platform, to receive an invitation to participate in an online interview. 

In order for the career fair to be maximum useful to you, we recommend that you do the following:

  • Sign up to participate in the event

If you are using the platform for the first time, you need to register as a user and to select the event "Career in Bulgaria". If you already have a registration on the platform, you only need to register for the specific event.

  • Update your profile and CV

We advise you to carefully describe your education and qualifications, skills you possess and foreign languages you speak, as well as the technical programs you work with.  It is recommended that you upload your CV in English. In your account you have the opportunity to upload your photo and to provide your LinkedIn account, if you have such, as well as another online portfolio of yours. In order to participate in individual chats or interviews with employers on the day of the event, you must also enter Skype account information (Skype ID) into your account.

  • Apply for a job/s and confirm your participation in interviews

As you have already been informed from the information above – on the platform you will have the opportunity to choose from a wide range of jobs of different employers. Examine them in advance and apply for those of them that meet your education, skills and expectations.  When you apply for a job, the employer will have the opportunity to see your CV and profile. Please note that just uploading your CV to your profile is not enough to make it visible to employers, as it will only be available to them when you apply for the position. 

The employers you have applied for may invite you to one or more online interviews. If you have been pre-selected for an interview, you will receive a notification from the relevant employer(s) about the time-slot of the interview. We advise you to reply as soon as possible to the notification. 

  • Prepare for interviews

In order to be well prepared for the interviews, we advise you to carefully review the available information about the participating employers, their fields of activity, announced positions, the conditions they offer and the requirements for their occupation. The platform provides an opportunity for interactive participation and bilateral connection, so that you can also ask questions that interest you during the interview. Please note that during interviews and individual chats, your devices should have a microphone and camera to connect, as well as a Skype account. 

  • Presentations during the forum are also intended for you!

Follow carefully the presentations that will be broadcast on the platform. Get informed and be active by asking the questions you're interested in the chat. You can join the general chat of the event after registering on the platform. However, please keep in mind that you also need a Skype account for individual chats.

  • If you do not have pre-scheduled interviews:

On the day of the event itself, you will also have the opportunity to contact the employers, as well as to receive information and advice about existing services to support your career guidance and development.
