Group Op de Beeck has dozens of years of experience in processing various organic wastes and byproducts. We process organic wastes and byproducts into quality raw materials, which may be used for various purposes.

At our production site in Kallo, 350,000 tons of organic waste flows are processed annually. They are made up of food from supermarkets (expired products), recall operations, overproduction, byproducts from the food industry, byproducts from the biodiesel industry, etc.

Organic waste streams that are collected via conventional waste processors are also often processed and valorized through us. These organic waste streams are valorized by the production of green energy (electricity and heat) via anaerobic digestion, coupled with a unique process of full recovery and valorization of the nutrients and water present in the waste streams.

 

TASK DESCRIPTION

Under the guidance of the main operator, you are responsible for the entire production process on our site every day.

We interpret the job of operator in the broad sense of the word. It ranges from adjusting the fermentation installation to, for example, the preventive replacement of a pump.

Troubleshooting and restarting processes are of course also part of this.

 

REQUIREMENTS

  • Technical education
  • Maintenance technician and production operator
  • Able to communicate in English and Polish, willing to learn Dutch
  • Driver’s licence B
  • You are flexible and have the necessary technical insight and reasoning skills
  • You are interested in production processes
  •  You are a team player but you can also work independently after the initial learning period (always under supervision)
